Bio
Amaya Jebre Jones was born in Atlanta, GA. As a child, she enjoyed reading, watching Disney movies, and delving into her imagination. She wrote her first poem in the 2nd grade. It wasn't until she reached 7th grade that she began to consider pursuing a career in writing. She obtained
her bachelor's from Georgia State University, where she majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She attended Kennesaw State University, earning her Master’s of Arts in Professional Writing. She has published one poetry collection, World of Color, and is working toward becoming a screenwriter.
